How To Dress For A Winter Workout

FYI I look really tense in these pictures because I was freezing! These pictures were taken in Estes, just like Monday's post, and again I need to say that I wish I visited more often! It was so snowy up there but that just added to the coziness of the town. If you're ever in CO definitely visit Estes!

On another note, my last first week of school is complete! All of my classes actually seem quite interesting and my schedule is pretty nice as well so I'm thinking it is going to be a good semester.

I think this outfit would be perfect for a winter workout. As the temperature drops it is easy for our motivation to drop as well so being well equipped with proper workout clothes is important! Also, dressing for a winter workout can be a little tricky because you obviously don't want to be cold but what if you get too hot? Layers are the perfect way to creating a balance.

The jacket in the pictures above is the perfect layering piece! It is lightweight yet is a great wind breaker. It is also light enough you could easily tie it around your waist if you got too warm. Also, I'm loving this long sleeve top from Lululemon! It is one of their basics and isn't anything new but this white one is my first and I can't stop wearing it! Just like the jacket it is lightweight so it won't feel bulky but definitely adds enough warmth.

Outfit Details: Jacket  // Long Sleeve Top // Sports Bra // Leggings (mine are very old but I assume these are the newer version) // Tennis Shoes

Hope you all had a great week and have an even better weekend! What're some of the ways you all stay motivated to work out when it's cold?

XOXO, Maddy
