Lazy Girl Hacks! How To Make Your Life Easier

Let's be real, we all would rather sit by a fire, drink wine and watch movies right? Unfortunately though we can't... *insert eye roll emoji here*. There are those nights or days where we can be lazy bums but a lot of the time we gotta get sh*t done! So today I want to start a new series on my blog called "lazy girl hacks". Every few weeks, once I've compiled enough "hacks", I will share them with you guys on the blog! Everyone can benefit from a few tips to make their lives easier, yeah? Let's get into the first installment of this series!

Lazy Girl Hack #1: Wrinkle Release
Who owns a iron? Yeah me neither. Who owns a steamer? Didn't think so. I really want to buy a personal steamer because they are very handy but I'm LAZY! If you are too, that is where wrinkle release comes in to save you're lazy bum. It is a handy dandy spray that your spray on clothes, you've either lied flat on a towel or hung on a hanger, then you take your hands and smooth out the wrinkles. Let it sit for a hour or two (not really sure because I typically do this the night before) and there ya have it wrinkles are gone! Okay maybe not as perfectly as a steamer or iron but it's better than nothing?

Lazy Girl Hack #2: Mini George Foreman Grill
Thank you to my parents for making me (okay them) buy this mini George Foreman grill sophomore year of college. If you only cook for yourself or one other person you NEED this in your life! It only costs $20 at Target and will save you time AND energy! And now I'm sounding like an infomercial... haha. Honestly though this mini grill is so useful. To cook a breast of chicken (think one person size) it takes less than 10 minutes. Also, it heats up in just a few minutes and is ridiculously easy to clean. Go get one and thank me later.

Lazy Girl Hack #3: Like to Know it
I love to shop but honestly sometimes I'm too lazy (shocker, lol). I also love Instagram (shameless plug @apinchofbrunette) and am constantly looking at other fashion blogger looks. Well you put these two things together and you get like to know it. I'm obsessed with this website/email thing (not sponsored). Basically you sign up with your email, then when you like a pic on Insta with the like to know it link in the caption you get an email with all the links to the outfit! It makes finding and shopping for cute clothes SO EASY! Perfect for the lazy girl :)

Lazy Girl Hack #4: Make "bowls" For Meals
Bowls are such a food trend right now and you need to get on that band wagon if you aren't already. Bowls are meals where you basically throw a bunch of ingredients into a bowl (duh) and bam you're done. Literally that easy and simple. You can do this for any meal too! For my bowls I just throw in things that sound good at that time and call it good. For instance, last night I made a burrito bowl with rice, beans, spinach, avocado, and pineapple (Is pineapple weird in there? I like weird food combos). It was such an easy meal to put together and bonus it was healthy!

Lazy Girl Hack #5: Sugar Scrub
Now you may have heard this before because I definitely heard about this a while ago! But it is a hack/tip I use almost every time I shower so I thought I would share it anyways. No one likes ingrown hairs, they are not cute and can be very painful. To make sure you're not getting any ingrown hairs it is a good idea to exfoliate every other shower or so. But if you're too lazy to buy a scrub from the store use good ol' sugar found in your kitchen! Right now I have a little container holding some coconut sugar in my shower always ready to go. Therefore, making it super easy to exfoliate! Bonus, it is cheaper and more natural way of exfoliating!

There ya guys go, first post in my lazy girl hacks series! I hope you all enjoyed! Let me know if you have any lazy girl hacks in the comments below!

XOXO, Maddy
