PITAYA BOWL RECIPE

               The New Breakfast Trend You Need to Try Immediately: Fun to say and even more fun to eat: the pitaya bowl.:


Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I was inspired to share a yummy, healthy, summery (should I add more adjectives? lol) recipe with you all! I am obsessed with all things smoothie and smoothie bowl! I know acai bowls are a MAJOR thing and I love those too but pitaya is where it is at for me. Although this pic is not mine that bright pink color you see, you'll get every time you use pitaya (aka dragon fruit!). You can find pitaya packs right next to the acai packs in the freezer section of your grocery store!

Pitaya is SUPER rich in antioxidants as well as vitamin C and multiple B vitamins! And can we just acknowledge how Insta worthy the color is!? Also, mango and pineapple have such a refreshing taste. Pineapple is great for immune system support, bone health, digestion and so much more! Mango also adds so many benefits such as helping keep your skin clear, eye health, and lower cholesterol. This recipe also includes spinach. Do we need to go over the benefits!? Spinach is a superfood so I think that sums it up!

  • Half of a pitaya pack 
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks 
  • 1-2 cups of spinach 
  • Enough orange juice to blend it up! (or use coconut water for a little healthier option!)
