What To Wear To Class When You're Running Late

Shop This Look: Top /Leggings // Boots // Purse

Who's ready for the weekend!? I am writing this in advance because I'm currently soaking up the Cali sun! Anyways, when I was thinking of helpful fall posts I thought why not share an outfit idea for when you're running late. This is geared more towards going to class but it could be worn to work depending on your office.

Now when I was in college I definitely had days where I rolled out of bed threw on an oversized sweatshirt, glasses and makeup wasn't even a thought. That being said, there are days when you want to look cute and somewhat put effort yet don't have the time to perfectly put together a whole look. I wanted to put together an outfit that was very easy, affordable, and contained pieces you could pair with other things. I think a simple tunic like the one above is great because it has a put together silhouette, comes in multiple colors and is under $30! Stock up because this would be great for presentation days!

Leggings are closet stapes need I say more?? Like I said I wanted to find affordable pieces (and ones you can buy all from the same store) so I chose these Zella leggings. I love a good pair of Lululemon's but they do run on the expensive side. I own a pair of Zella's and love them! They are thick (not see through), high waisted and best of all $54! Yes you read that right, they are under $60 buckaroos. Also, this tote bag is under $50 and is reversible so you're getting two bags in one!

I think a pair of boots is a MUST for fall and winter; everyone needs a solid pair of black tall boots. Since this item is essential and can get beaten up fairly quickly I chose a pair that is a little bit more expensive for $150. Since I was going for a very affordable look I tried to find the cheapest boots but that definitely leads to cheap quality which boots should not be. To be honest the boots I highly recommend are Stuart Weitzman but those are for sure investment pieces that you have to save up for.  Also, I think the flatter the boot the better when you're walking (or running) from class to class.

I hope this post was helpful and I definitely want to share more affordable fashion for anyone but especially students because I know that babysitting doesn't cover much! Like I mentioned above everything is from Nordstrom because I love how easy it is to return things and it makes it easier when you have one package coming to your door!

XOXO, Maddy
