Non-toxic Conditioner Review

Who doesn't love soft hair?? Most of us are constantly applying heat to our hair which is so bad for it but I know personally I love curling my hair so I won't be stopping any time soon!

I'm always on the look out for natural (as natural as can be, nothing's perfect) beauty products that actually do something. Hair products, especially, can be a danger zone of chemicals which maybe soon I can do a blog post detailing more. I highly recommend checking out this website to see what beauty products of your's hold dangerous chemicals.

Maple Holistics, who I've worked with before, reached out to me asking if I wanted to try and review their Silk 18 conditioner so I've been testing this baby out since December. This product stood out to me because the ingredients are non-harmful and it is affordable! So many times I find natural products that will cost you an arm and a leg to buy and while sometimes it's worth it to spend a few extra bucks it's also nice to save some moolah. Now I will say the ingredients listed on their website isn't all of them BUT I researched all the chemically sounding ingredients listed on the packaging, through the website I linked above, and all except 2 received 1 ratings which is a good thing! The 2 that didn't, Pehnoxyethanol and Potassium Sorbate, received a 4 and 3 which isn't bad. Those 2 ingredients where just marked for allergen reasons from what I found.

I have been loving this conditioner! I was honestly surprised at how much I've been liking it and how smooth and soft it has been making my hair. The great thing about Maple Holistics is that they have a free sample program so you can test out a handful of products before purchasing! While you're there they also have a blog you can check out too!

XOXO, Maddy
