5 Of My Favorite Dairy Free Foods!

Happy Wednesday!! Did you see last week's post on Easter Outfit Inspiration Under $100!? I rounded up a ton of Easter/Spring outfit inspiration from tops, bottoms, dresses and shoes!

On to today's post topic: diary free foods/snacks! I've been diary free for a few years now (okay there's been some cheats but cheese is good lol) so I've explored so many dairy free options. Some have been amazing finds while other's not so much. I know diary free has been a huge "trend" for a while and I see more and more people giving it a go so I thought I'd share some of my fave options.

Let me start off by saying any dairy free product takes some getting used to because, well, it's not real dairy! If you're trying to go diary free know that your tastebuds take time to adjust to new flavors so give things a try more than once.

5 Really Good Dairy Alternatives

1. Kite Hill Cream Cheese

Kite Hill in general is amazing, they really get things right when it comes to dairy alternatives! I believe that this cream cheese tastes the most similar to the real deal and the texture is good too.

2. Kite Hill Yogurt

The greek and regular are both delicious!! I'm telling you, you really can't go wrong with Kite Hill. This is the only dairy free yogurt my boyfriend, Kyle, will eat. When we went plant based yogurt was something Kyle was more picky about but he is now obsessed with Kite Hill's regular vanilla yogurt.

3. Follow Your Heart Cheese

Similar to Kite Hill I find Follow Your Heart to be the most consistent across products. While other vegan/dairy free cheeses are good some brands have major hits and misses. FYH is very good across all of their products from shreds to slices.

4. Earth Balance Cheddar Squares

These are like Cheeze It's and I'm obsessed with them! My brother said they tasted like cardboard so maybe not everyone will like these... I'm not gonna lie don't go into these expecting the exact same cheeze it taste but I honestly like them for their own taste.

5. Amy's Frozen Dairy Free Mac n' Cheese

This is the best dairy free boxed mac n' cheese I've come across. I have a few others that I don't mind but this one is definitely my favorite! It's also nice that is frozen so just pop it into the microwave!

Hope this is helpful!!

XOXO, Maddy
